Velvet Ribbon, Side tied, Tee Shirt: Re-Post

I was just browsing through some of my older DIY's
and thought that this might be a great Re-post for a cute New Year's DIY.
This was an off the shoulder T-shirt that I dressed up by using some Red Velvet Ribbon.
I think Black velvet would be pretty too.

If you are wondering why I have been so DIY silent over the last couple of months it is
because I  have been taking a little break from my blog due to some family issues.
I am really hoping to get back to regular DIY blogging in January.
I hope all of you are well,
and my wish for 2017 is that you all have a
Happy and Wonderful New Year.

Cut Out Sweatshirt With A Touch of Glitter, DIY

Do you ever just see an Item of clothing someone is wearing and want it,  then  can't find it anywhere?  This is my life.  Half of the things I see online I cant find,  so I create them.
It's A wonderful thing because creating  is what I love to do.
December is a super busy Month for me because I am in Retail. Do I love Retail?  No not really.  I would rather spend my day Creating new  DIY's  and doing videos, but for now this is what I have to do.
I am, however, super THANKFUL and do it with a smile because I have a great team and I LOVE the people I work with so much. Super blessed!

This Sweatshirt was created because of a picture I saw of Jessica Simpson. She was wearing a similar sweatshirt and it looked so cute and comfy that I wanted one. I  immediately began to search the internet for one and I could not find one even remotely close to it,  so this DIY was created.

These are exactly  what I had  pictured in my mind.
I have gotten so many comments about these chokers that I decided to create a  tutorial so you can create your very own dainty leather choker yourself.

Happy Halloween  Everyone. I dont know what happened but
Halloween kind of snuck up on me this year.
I am re- posting this cute little Skull scarf  did from a tee shirt.
Easy and inexpensive, My Favorite.
And OMG look how short my hair was O_O WOW.

I had a 10 inch wide  by 48 inch long strip of knit material left over from the bottom the polka dot shirt I did HERE  and I have been waiting for just the right project to use  it.
Well with Fall nipping at my heels a skull scarf seemed like the perfect remedy for my quandary.

Dainty Velvet Chokers.

Chokers are all the rage right now, so why not make your very own chokers using just a few items.* FYI, a spool of velvet ribbon is only $1.97 at Walmart.*  When you create your own it enables you to make it fit YOU, size wise and personality wise. You can also be creative when you make your own  and push the boundaries, add charms, buttons, broaches, whatever your heart desires.  The best thing is that this is an quick and easy project to do with your girlfriends or your children, even the impatient ones.:)

Trips To Epcot.

If you follow me on Snap Chat or Instagram you know that one of my favorite places to visit is Epcot, at Walt Disney World. I am a really lucky girl to live so close.   (It is about 40 minutes from my house.) We buys passes every year which allows us to make quick trips just to walk around and admire the general splendor. These pictures are from a few  trips we made  which were in February, May, and this past week.
A  really exciting  time at Epcot is in September when the Food and Wine Festival kicks in. During September 14 thru November 14 there is a spectacular celebration of  global cuisines and music where  you can enjoy a plethora of food and libations from over 30 different booths, sampling different foods and drinks from around the world.  The Magic Kingdom holds its own little soiree with the  Mickey's not so Scary Halloween Party This is the time to be a kid again and dress the whole family up and enjoy all of the fun costumes you see.   Disney gets all gussied up for Halloween and Fall with pumpkins on every street corner and spooky treats for all .  During the whole month of September and October Pumpkins and gorgeous decorations are throughout the Park and it transports you back into a time forgotten  when every house was decorated..  Just imagine walking down a Main Street in Missouri back a hundred years ago, Truly Magical, and amazing to see. I can not wait to go and see this years decorations, it really gets this Florida girl in the mood for Fall even though its still 95 degrees out side.
